He currently serves as a member of the boards of AutoNation, Inc. and Blue Ridge Holdings, Inc. Brown has also served on the boards of the NCAA, Duke Energy, Wachovia Corporation, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, and Sonoco Products Company.
As a strong supporter of youth, education, and non-violent programs, Brown serves on the boards of High Point University, Boston University, Virginia Union University, National Urban League, Horatio Alger Association, and the Richard Nixon Foundation.

Senior Vice President
James McNeil, has been a leader in the field of education for over 40years. Mr. McNeil worked for 27 years with the Department of Defence Dependent Schools in six countries; Japan, Germany, Bahrain, Norway, Italy and Greece. After his career with the Federal Government, Mr. McNeil accepted the position of Executive Director of the International BookSmart Foundation in High Point, NC that collects millions of books that are shipped to countries in Africa and distributed to schools and children who are unable to acquire books in their home countries. He is a skilled negotiator and very capable of garnering support for projects that are dedicated to raising awareness of the plight of our most vulnerable global citizens, our children. Mr. McNeil is a lifelong learner who holds degrees from Winston Salem State University and the University of the District of Columbia.
Chief Administrator and Vice President
Johnnie Kirkland, Chief Administrative Officer of B&C Associates, has been with the firm for over 40 years. She has extensive experience in office administration and accounting. Mrs. Kirkland directs and coordinates a variety of internal management and support services within the firm to help the company better serve its clients. In addition she manages all daily financial matters for the firm, including accounts payable and account receivables. She also serves as Confidential Assistant to the CEO.
Carol Spears, is a Nuclear and Chemical Engineer with 27 years experience as a GE Healthcare Global Manager in charge of overall strategy and development of select MRI and Respiratory Device. Also, she was responsible for clear definition of product features and benefits, capabilities, technical road maps, financial planning and solutions in the global premium market place including creating a global product portfolio strategy and business intelligence. She has managed strategic projects in Africa, United States, Canada , South America, Europe, Asia, and other places. She has also helped to package transactions for execution.
Chief Administrator Officer
Lenette Burris is an Executive Assistant, and offers support to the CEO. Prior to coming to B&C Associates, Burris worked as Director of Membership for the High Point Chamber of Commerce. Burris completed the United Way Project Board Development and volunteered with Open Door Ministries, serving on the Board of Directors and greeting clients and answering telephones in the ministry office. She has also worked with the High Point Market Authority and West End Ministries.
Senior Vice President International
Vusi Vuma has over 18 years marketing research and strategy experience in sectors that cover healthcare, FMCG, public service, financial services, ICT in South Africa and internationally (Asia, Scandinavia and the rest of the continent).
A qualified pharmacist, Vusi studied and lectured at Rhodes University, South Africa before joining the Pharmaceutical Industry (Novo Nordisk and GlaxoSmithKline). After leaving GSK Vusi joined the Healthcare Research Division at IPSOS Markinor which he headed before he started his own business in 2000.
Vusi has previously written for Marketing Web and was an insights and trends columnist for the IMM Journal of Strategic Marketing. Vusi’s particular strength lies in strategy and insights. He has been an invited speaker at University of Pretoria GIBS Business school and other lectures to speak on trends and insights.

Arthur Marshall has 30 years of corporate experience monitoring trends and issues impacting on global corporations, both domestic and offshore. Mr. Marshall holds a BS in Economics and Political Science from St. Louis University and completed post-graduate studies in Computer Science Technology.
